From CA to Consulting Guru: An interview with Mr. Bala Murugan

Bala_closeupWith a growing enthusiasm in his each word, it was wonderful to interview Mr. Bala Murugan – CFO of Cogzidel Consultancy Services. His professional degrees are an unending list of CA, ACS and MBA plus various certificates on Business Management, Office Administration and Advanced Commercial / Technical Applications.

Bala Murugan was employed for more than 10 years with prestigious institutions like Cricinfo.com & Agriya Infoway Pvt Ltd. In his career span, he is mastered in the verticals of Finance, Accounts, HR, Office Administration and Secretarial Functions.

As a branch of his career, he always was part of converting everyone’s dream startup into realization. With the motto of ‘Challenging the Challenges’, he has co-founded this venture in 2008 along with Mr. Anand Nataraj (who is a successful first-generation entrepreneur for the past 10 years) to renovate his career into business.

In answering about What is Entrepreneurship? He said,

A stone which is on road is stamped day and night, the same stone which is made as sculpture is worshipped all through its existence. That is how the entrepreneur dream is, until you have it as a dream, you will be considered as a stone, once you put in your hard work and prove, you will be approved and admired.

In his lively talk about his Entrepreneur dream & vision, he shared these insights for mentoring and motivating the Wanna-be entrepreneurs;

  • Select your Business idea in your Niche Area
  • Grow yourself in your expertise
  • Build a Like-minded individuals team
  • Educate your team members with the fire on commercial awareness
  • Don’t blindly follow what others say. Do ground level studies, research, assess, evaluate, know your capacity and know your responsibilities.
  • Kick start your startup
  • Know the subject & drive your company

    One of the best thoughts, you have brought into your table… Interviewing entrepreneurs. It is MUST at this emerging business world to identify the potential Entrepreneurs and encourage them in this kind.

    I just don’t see the interview in it. There are lot more good things.

    Can people contact these startup guys and will they help them. Get a Social Networking aspect to it.Where people can connect with these guys.

    Good idea for a site. I look forward for more reading.

    As Thanveer pointed out, I was looking for more info from the interview. You can try audio / video interview like kiruba.com shows. if it is time consuming, may be a more descriptive text.

    there can also be more precise questions.. like what were the mistakes they did? a scenario about the opportunities in their industry etc.,
